Cross country skiing and winter hiking
With its 65km of trail, the Zwiesler Winkel is ideal for cross-country skiing. Trails of all kinds are available. What about a 5km trail in Bärnzell? Enjoy the sunlight with a relatively easy level.
You prefere more complicated trails? Then the Kaiser trail in Rabenstein is the one you are looking for.
The 2 classic trails, which are also available for skating, are 6 and 14km long and will you give high sensations.
The winter sports center Waldhaus in Zwiesel will also give you the opportunity to enjoy a 30km trail, for all levels of difficulties.
The Bretterschachten on the Big Arber is also very popular.

These cross-country skiing stations are reachable by bus for free.
Winter walking and snowshoe tours
Es gibt rund um Zwiesel sehr schöne geräumte Winterwanderwege mit einer Gesamtlänge von ca. 60 km.
Ein besonderes Highlight sind Schneeschuhtouren.
There are approximately very beautiful wintertrails about a lenght of 60 km around Zwiesel. A special highlight are snowshoe tours. Enjoy this experience of untouched nature and you feel yourself simply free!
